Hobonichi 2027 Preview Days 12–15
- Quite intrigued by the drawer pouch that looks thicker than the usual.
These ornaments are called “snow bijou.” They’re hand-stitched using 318 beads of nine types, including glass beads, metal beads, round beads, and cylindrical bugle beads, as well as rhinestones and sequins.
- Not my style, but wow. Bet the price would be equally fabulous too.
- Probably not making my cut but I kind of like that background....
Since this Weeks has a paper cover, the “dark side of the moon” motif was photographed, printed onto the cover, and finished with a glossy coating to give it a lustrous shine. Hand-embroidering every single cover would have been too difficult, but each sequin has been reproduced with lifelike clarity.
- For a moment I really thought they stitched those beads/sequins on!?
Day 15: collect & collage (stationery)
- This is where I say Hobonichi definitely has my number lol.
- Notebook totally reminds me of the TN. Which I already have and use. Got to say I seriously contemplated getting one for fun anyway!?
- These corner stickers look interesting too. But there's probably the price to consider, and that's also only if it doesn't go out of stock when I get around to ordering.
- This stamp too!! But okay, I don't really want to deal with ink pads so I'm safe. For now.
